Carl Johan Åkesson to step down as CFO of Hemnet in August 2022

Stockholm 10 February 2022: Hemnet Group AB (“Hemnet”), announced today that
Carl Johan Åkesson, who joined the company in 2018, has decided to leave his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a new opportunity outside of the company.

Cecilia Beck-Friis, CEO of Hemnet: 

“Carl Johan’s contribution has been instrumental to Hemnet during a very important phase for the company leading up to and including the IPO in April 2021. Under his leadership we have substantially increased the level of quality and structure in our financial processes, giving us a strong foundation for our continued growth journey. I wish Carl Johan the very best of luck in his new position, and thank him for his tireless commitment to and engagement in Hemnet.“

Carl Johan will leave Hemnet in August 2022 and the search for his replacement will start immediately.
